Timmy was one of a dozen horses whose owner didn’t pay board for nearly two years. The court awarded the horses to the owner of the stable where they were boarded, and Jamie got Timmy from him the next day. Timmy had been a breeding stallion for 13 years, so a little surgery made him more suitable to be turned out with other horses – something he hadn’t done since his first year of life. All these years later, he’s still learning how to interact properly with other horses. Recently, Dillon (see his profile) showed Timmy what it was like to have someone more dominant (and simultaneously friendlier) in the field, and that has helped Timmy become easier for everyone to live with. Born in 1998, Timmy is rideable, but he’s not the most comfortable horse to ride due to some arthritis in his back end. Still he’s sweet and has a HUGE personality. Timmy’s favorite thing is to stick his tongue out (which actually is what drew Jamie’s attention to him to begin with) – he uses it to get people and other horses to play with him. Timmy is a bay, 15.2-hand, registered purebred Arabian born in 1998.
Timmy is available for annual sponsorship. Would you like to contribute toward his room and board? Costs are about $200/month, but we would accept any monthly amount, no matter how small.
