The daughter of one of Jamie’s friends adopted Cowboy, an older appaloosa, in about 2017. A year later, his new owner found her job and young children really weren’t allowing her enough time with Cowboy, so she looked for a new home for him. Because Jamie had ridden Cowboy and liked his sweet personality, she offered him a soft place to land at the WellBeings farm. Cowboy has some stiffness from arthritis, but he gets along pretty well and is otherwise very healthy. He’s also very attached to his buddy Mystic. Cowboy is one of the permanent residents of the WellBeings sanctuary, although we would consider placing him in a local non-riding home with Mystic. Cowboy is a 16-hand, red roan appaloosa gelding likely born in the mid-1990s.
Cowboy is available for annual sponsorship. Would you like to contribute toward his room and board? Costs are about $200/month, but we would accept any monthly amount, no matter how small.
