Cocoa, a half-Arabian and half-Shetland, bred by an Amish family, was advertised cheaply on a Facebook group, and Jamie offered this cute little girl a home. She had been “trained” by a 10-year-old girl, and that’s about how much she knew; so Jamie took her with the idea of finding her a new family once she was properly started under saddle. When Jamie took in Cowboy, his friend Meg needed a horse to keep her company, so Jamie sent Cocoa there temporarily. A few months later, the folks who owned Meg asked if Cocoa could stay with them permanently. So there she is – happy and well-loved! Cocoa is a 11.2-hand, dark brown mare with Arabian ancestry.
