WellBeings works to transform the lives of horses and people by bringing members of the two species together in productive and meaningful ways.
Jamie has always had a tendency to take in animals that just need new, loving homes: The 3-week-old kitten found outside the screened porch; the dog who waited in the shelter for four years to get a new home; the old horse whose owner just didn’t have time for him and wanted to give him to whoever would take him.
WellBeings has a small Board of Directors currently, but we are interested in establishing a Board of Advisors who bring needed knowledge, skills, and abilities to help us professionalize our program, such as fundraising, event planning, volunteer recruitment, accounting, and more
We are grateful for our volunteers, whose active roles as members of the WellBeings clan are crucial to our ability to provide transformational experiences for our horses and for our clients. We welcome each volunteer to our community and offer them opportunities to grow, to gain a sense of belonging, and to transform, as they come to value deep connection with horses and with other people.
